Lough Hyne Marine Reserve touch tank event

I got this in my inbox this morning, might be fun to do with kids or even if your just generally interested (kids are not a requirement!). They will have crabs, starfish, sea urchins and many other critters found in Lough Hyne on display.

Saturday 25th August Annual Heritage Week Touch tank event at Lough Hyne Marine Reserve

11am-1pm at the North Shore car Park, Lough Hyne between Skibbereen and Baltimore.

Members of the UCC Lough Hyne Research team will talk about some of the common animals usually hidden in the depths of the Marine Reserve and some of the issues affecting Lough Hyne. Free entry. All Welcome!
