Phoenix Kayak Club is delighted to announce Cork teenager and club member Jamie O'Brien became Junior IC Kayak Surfing World Champion yesterday Thursday 26th October. Jamie surfed his heart out on the day in challenging conditions gaining his win in the IC (International Class) category at the World Championships in Portrush NI. Not content with 1st place in IC, Jamie followed it with 3rd place in the HP (High Performance) category.

Well done Jamie we're proud of you!!
