Fundraiser BBQ at the club on 10 th September for Paddlesurf

Hi everyone,
I'm organizing a BBQ for Sunday 10 th September in Phoenix club house to help towards funding for the Paddlesurf team who are representing Ireland at the world surf kayak championship in northern Ireland in October this year. The event is taking place in Portrush Co Antrim from the 20 th of October to the 28 th of October and will see competitors from all over the world competing in both individual and team events.

This year we have six members from our own club competing at this event . Seniors Alan O Brien and Jerry O Driscoll , Connor O Driscoll and Juniors Jamie O Brien, Rob O Driscoll and Nathaniel Laplaud and I wish them the best of luck in their different classes and events.

The BBQ will start approximately at 1pm and finish at 3pm approximately and will cost 10 euro for an adult and 5 euro for a child under 16.There will be raffles on the day and all are welcome.The club will also be open on the day if people would like to go out on the water.
