Right folks, the next Marathon Race is on this weekend. Who is interested.

Unlike the last race, i have paddled this one and can say that it is a nice handy course. One broken weir that you'd barely notice.

This would be another good practise for those interested in doing the liffey descent but can't find the time to practise (Danny asnd Micheal maybe) Wink

For those of ye who had difficulty staying in your kayaks the last time, this will be a doddle.

I should be at the siter on Thurs night so let me know there and then.

Timings are similar to last week with the race start at 12 o clock.

This is nice and handy as you are back in cork for fourish (unless you drive a skoda) tongue

Post back if interested.

P.S. Hows your ass Paul Heffernan, are you up for this one Question

Hi Dave

I'd be interested in taking part on Sunday.

I'll need to use a club boat - a dancer or if I'm feeling especially brave a wavehopper.

Will there be someone collecting club boats??

Where and when will we meet up?

All the best
Kevin.

Kevin,
we are meeting at Lakeview garage at 8:30am on sunday morning. A wavehopper would be qwell suitable for this race as it is really straight forward. I'm on a stag tonight and have a wedding tomorrow so won't be near the site to get you a boat.

Anyone available to meet Kevin at the site and give him a wavehopper please over the weekend.
