Anybody on for a paddle tomorrow?
No idea where or when yet.
Text myself or Dave. (Dave would be better as I don't like answering my phone.)

River levels will be low, but it would give paddlers who are developing their river running skills the opportunity to do just that. Uptake for the Sullane was non-existant.

I was thinking either the upper bandon for a few runs or
the upper clydagh (it would be low but the newbies could try the slide, s-bend and gates section once or twice. Lower water will make these a bit trickier so it would be well worth it.

My number is in the contacts page of the website.

Whoever is interested, i need to know by 9.30 tonight. If there are a few looking for boats i will meet them at the club, however my car will be full, so they'll have to have transport.

SO STOP WHINGING AND START PADDLING Very Happy

Well uptake was pretty similar to last year. Only two additional paddlers. Seamus had to pull out but at least he had planned to come along.

There was still a bit of water left on the Upper bandon so there was fun to be had by all. We gave the double drop a good few goes, before pushing on to the bridge in Dunmanway through the boulder garden.

Oh well maybe next time Sleep

Wink But Dave people need more notice.
Maybe we could plan the October trips now. Do you think there will be water in October? Only problem is it's cold then.
Ah well. Maybe next year.Laughing

Very Happy Well done to Paul and Noel. Lot's of swimming pratice. And some classy "reverse ferry gliding".
And Ray fresh from the Alps. Level 5 next?
