This was a great race and a nice introduction for people who had not raced before.

People who did attend, would agree that while there are some who attend these races to compete really hard, most just come along for a paddle.

The Marathon Season has just kicked off and aslthough there are a lot of the races based around Dublin, it would be my hope that we could get a few attending these races, especially the Liffey Descent, Lower Liffey, Upper Liffey, Thomastown, Etc, Etc.....
