I know last year Phoenix organised this course to be run in Cork. I am currently trying to organise a similar one again this summer. It takes 2 weekends, I'll probably try and get it done in July at some stage (current dates hopefuly the weekends of the 5th and 12th but not set in stone by any means), in between surf comps and whatever else is on. Don't know price yet.
Trying to gauge interest at the moment. They need 8 people to run the course, I currently have 5 definites, and a whole pile of maybes. You WILL need to have your level 4 personal proficiency first. I know in the past leeway has been given on this one, but official ICU line says you do need it.
So, anyone who is at this stage theoretically interested can ye let me know please.

Ya, I hope i'm down as a Definate already but just in case i'm not. Put me down. Spoke with Conor Ryan last month about doing the Level 4 and he said they'd run a level 4 assessment in Mayif there is interest. Still have not heard back from them so will ring in the morning. He said that there probably would be no leeway, but i'll sort that side if need be. Hopefully will be assessed by then.
