I have 3 or 4 lads from work who are up for it all going well. Of coarse all of this is dependent on the weather i will be at the pool on friday night will know by then enyone else interested you can give a text or call on 086 3499897.bom

If ye do the paddle before friday. Look out to the south west and just slightly over the Horizon, about 100 miles you'll see me hanging over the side of a ship trying very hard not to get sick No pale

Hi Ray,

Looks like a swell coming in Friday for the weekend, winds are moderate , could be a rough crossing and the surf will probally be up along the coast.
Inch may be good fun for a bit of surfing!!! or as michael says the rain is due.

will talk Friday

Willie

Hi Ray

Just to let you know the annual cliff walk between Ballycotton and Inch (Ballinrostig) in aid of The Chernobyl Children's Project takes place tomorrow.

It's starts out from Ballycotton at 11am and is usually well subscribed so it could be a nightmare with traffic trying to get anywhere near the water with boats to launch.

You might want to consider leaving a little earlier or setting out in the opposite direction, this would be wind assisted according to the forecast.

Sounds like a great paddle, unfortunately, can't make this one!

All the best, Kevin.

Sounds good...I'm up for this.
Could just use Goleen on the west side of Inch or Roches Point as alternatives..?
Forecast looks good - 7am high tide at cobh so if depart at 11 tidal flow will be east west but will be almost over - wind backing west to south east Force 3 to 4 so no worries there either. Think that makes sense.
