Hi all,

Myself and Declan will be going down from Iniscarra dam to the Lee Fields, this Saturday morning, if anyone would like to join.

Get on is at 10.45 AM, so you'll need to have your gear and shuttle sorted before then.

Leave us know if your going,

Cheers,

Jason.

we're thinking of doing this section of river sun sept 13th

besides ballincollig weir is there anything in particular to watch out for?

also, is there a way of knowing when esb are going to release water if there's been heavy rain in the days beforehand?

clear run down outside of the weir at Ballincollig. The release times are publicised, but I'm not sure where. They might tell you if you gave them a call.

Enjoy the trip,

http://riverspy.net/esbgauge.html?code=00008 for current levels

parsed from http://esbhydro.ie/Lee/

Traditionally there hasn't been many releases at weekends, when there's less requirements for electricity, not an absolute rule but information to bear in mind.

If they've been releasing all week and there hasn't been a lot of rainfall, I believe it's far less likely that they will be releasing over the weekend too.

Hope this helps
