Email received from organisers of the below event, contact them directly for information.

Dear Kayak Club,

Iím writing to invite you to the Wild Atlantic Challenge 2018 (WAC). This challenge is set in the beautiful Kenmare Bay and there are a range of course distances to challenge everybody: 10km, 20km and 30km routes.

During the challenge you will be kayaking between the Caha Mountains to the south and the Macgillycuddy Reeks to the north as well as passing one of Ireland's largest seal colonies. Your time will be recorded and there will be various prizes for the winners but the emphasis is on challenging yourself.

Places are filling up and to make sure that you can take part I highly recommend registering as soon as possible. Entry is Ä35 per paddler and this includes a t-shirt, safety cover, a medal and a donation to the Irish Community Rapid Response (ICRR).

We look forward to hearing from you,

Colin Wong (WAC committee 2018)
