Phoenix Kayak Club are based on the River Lee, and run Beginners courses throughout the Summer, while also entertaining their Current membership every Thursday night.

I'm no political expert but if ballincog becomes part of the city do we have a second chance to get a slalom course

You should always keep going with an idea regardless of whether it is City or County making the decision. I think it's more a case of selling the idea better/differently Meeting people with influence and persuading them.

There's money coming on stream for sports projects in the next few years I'd imagine, if the economy keeps growing. Did we apply for a sports capital grant for it? Who owns the Weir etc? Should we apply for funding to develop it?

I don't know what angle we took to the issue.
