PostSubject: Wearing of helmets on the water at all times   Tue 07 Jun 2016, 11:20 pm

Over the last few weeks the non wearing of helmets at the club is starting to creep in more and more, this was discussed tonight at a committee meeting and agreed if this continues sanctions will be looked at for the future for those members..

"A properly fitted helmet must be worn at all times when involved with moving water ,surf or activity which may result in head contact eg.canoe polo "

This quote is from the safety guidelines and policies of Phoenix kayaking club which are for all to see on the notice board outside of the toilets area for the last few years.if you have an issue with this policy you can bring it up with the committee.
