PostSubject: Garda Vetting   Fri 05 Feb 2016, 7:54 am

Hi All,

Garda vetting is a requirement for any PKC instructor level member & committee members and also, anyone planning on starting training as a Level 2 instructor.

Canoe Ireland now have a system in place where you can simply download and complete the required forms and send them to Canoe Ireland for processing.

You need to go to https://canoe.ie/gardavetting/
Download and complete the Canoeing Ireland Garda Vetting form
Download and complete the Garda Vetting Checklist
& send them both by post to the address as shown.

On completion of the process you receive a letter from Canoeing Ireland stating the result of the vetting process.

Once received if you can please show this letter to a member of the PKC committee your vetting can then be on record. Currently your Garda Vetting status will remain valid for 5 years.

If you have any questions you can contact Gardavetting@canoe.ie directly.

Michelle
