Anyone got any surf wax? Really should try and fix the leaks in my boat before the Liffey Descent and won't make a shop between now and then.

This stuff works well

Most hardware stores or lidl and aldi often have it, cheap and cheerful and quick Smile
Watertight, sticks well. You don't have the trouble of getting it out of the crack if you want to do a long lasting repair.

Handy stuff to have for anyone with a composite boat.

Or this is also handy for a quick job. Medium term repair.

Its an awkward crack through the two screws that hold the seat in place so will prob flex and break the glue fairly quickly. Was going to surf wax the crack and screws and then duct tape over it. It only has to last about 3 and a half hours Very Happy
I might try and get to a hardware store after work and see what they have. If you are heading up on Saturday Michael bring it. If not no worries. thanks

Great stuff, you'll just have to hope it won't be warm and melt the wax now.... sunny
