PostSubject: Valley Aquanaut LV on DoneDeal   Wed 30 Apr 2014, 10:10 pm

Valley Aquanaut 17' sea kayak. Plastic, so it's ideal for shore paddling. Very durable. The 17' length gives it a higher cruising speed and more storage space than smaller 13'-16' boats. 3 sealed hatches so no problem going out for a few days with tent, food, safety gear etc. Fully working drop down skeg. It retracts into the boat and therefore doesn't get damaged like Skeg/rudders that are hanging off the end of other boats.

I've just replaced the day hatch with a Sealect hatch as they're meant to be the best. The other two hatches are in perfect nick and always protected with 303 UV spray. Will probably need replacing in a year or two.

Overall it's in fantastic order except the previous owner stored it outside for just over a year and as a result the colour is a little dull (but I'm extremely picky). I've it in a garage all the time.

I also think this is a boat for someone that has done a bit of paddling before and as it's the LV (low volume) model, someone under 95 kgs. Thanks

Price: 975
