PostSubject: Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour   Wed 20 Mar 2013, 1:47 pm

This is an email I recieved today, just in case anyone is interested.

This is just a quick email to see if you and/or some of your group might be interested in coming along to an event we're holding at Devere Hall on Wednesday 10 April, University College Cork called the Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour.

The night will feature a collection of exhilarating adventure, exploration and mountain films from the world’s most prestigious mountain film festival. We're showing 8 films that include all sorts of mountain sports but also extraordinary adventures as well. It will definitely inspire everyone! We are also showing a special tour edit version of the kayaking film 'Flow Hunters' that features an expedition in New Zealand.

The screening starts at 7:30pm, doors and the bar opens at 6:30pm (the bar will be open during interval too, essential for any good social event!). We also have heaps of giveaways and prizes on the night too.

You can check out more details on our website banff-uk.com (there is a trailer here and a bit of info about the films). Tickets are €13 or €11 for concessions. We can arrange a group discount for 6 or more people.

If you have any friends or know of any groups that might also be interested, it would be great if you could pass this on to them as well! If you have any questions/feedback about coming please let me know - it would be brilliant if you could make it!

Kind Regards,

Nell Teasdale

I've gone to previous Banff Mountain Film Festivals. Usually some great climbing, mountain biking and kayaking films shown, well worth heading to. I'll be going I'd say, anyone else interested?
