PostSubject: Summer Playboating Trip   Fri 11 Jan 2013, 5:36 pm

Thinking of organizing a play boating trip to lee valley in london or hpp in nottingham over the summer, i know its ages away. just trying to gauge an interest before i go planning a trip.

plan so far, go for a week or so. probably longer if lee valley because you have to do a test to get on the olympic course.
if its lee valley its easier to fly, its a 10 minute train from stanstead airport and its in a national park so theres plenty of campsites. Ryanair take boats for the price of a large suitcase in their standards hahaso 140 quid.

nottingham is also camping but it means driving and ferrying.
the prices won't be too different but numbers of paddlers will affect the price and location.
