My Booties are rank affraid ...goin to wash em at 60deg...will they fall apart at any given high temp?

Hi Rich,
Not really recommended. Doesn't do the neoprene good. What a lot of guys use is Milton. Put a few drops in a bucket of water and leave the booties in it for a bit, kills off the bacteria and nasty smells. Don't use too much as too much bleach is not good either.

Might be worth a try.

Totally agree with Sean's advice, especially about too much bleach, tried that... Rolling Eyes

Why don't you try Piss-Off from Rip-Curl, it's anti-microbial and specially made for neoprene. Most watersports shops should have it.

I normally rinse and air-dry after each use, thinking about it though, soap/shampoo and rinse might be a better idea given all the little nasties that love a warm/wet environment affraid

Let us know how you get-on, we're all affected by mank gear at some stage. Shocked Shocked

Any advice on cleaning a wetsuit, been giving it a general hose down every now and then. Is there any way to give it that spring fresh smell Smile

After your display yesterday...a few vent holes in the spray deck might help! No

well ...after a 60 deg and powder the boots survived...smell good too....time will tell but the nice smell wins over ..anytime!! lol!
By the way they are Aldi or Lidl boots...two years old at least...bloody good apart from light soles.......
