ICU are running the long awaited L3 sea Instructor training on the 15th/16th aug. there is a chance, if the numbers are not sufficient, that it may be postponed.
So if any of you awsome people out there have the pre-requisites get yourselves on the list.
pre-requirments; L4 skills, over 18, icu member, access to boat. they are bringing in a rule about being a level 2 instructor first, im not sure how will this effect this course??
it will be great to get a few of us phoenix people doing it at the same time that way we could provide some good peer support while logging hours etc.

I need to do my trips before doing the L4 skills assessment so I am up for being a guinny pig this winter.

I haven't really worked on Level 4 since my course but am aiming at getting it early next year and doing the instructor afterward.

I need to find the level four notes to see how many trips I need.

Same as Paul and Zuppy, haven't really worked on Level 4 since the course. Will have to try and get it done.

Maybe we should make use of the instructors with L3 sea to help out
Myself, Conor, Cookie ,Don plus Seamus who recently passed his L4 proficiency also the lads paddle with a group from the waterford area who are very experienced .

unfortunatly that course did not go ahead due to lack of interest. i'm trying to approach the next course more proactivly, for example, have a list (or just be aware) of who is interested, ready or prepareing from the club. when things are more quiet i may follow evans advice and get out with some recent level 4's and sea instructors. in the mean time: who is concidering their sea instructorship?
