PostSubject: Open day with Bandon Outdoor store   Sat 14 Apr 2012, 11:33 am

Hi Folks,
I got a call from Philip in Wild Side Sports, it's the new outdoor store in Bandon. He asked me to post this up. The open day looks to be for people just taking their first steps into the kayaking world ie sit on tops and some basic dagger boats. Philip tells me they are hoping to develop the kayaking side of their business so might be worth a trip down. Anyway just doing as promised.....

Hi Sean,

Thanks for taking my call today.

As discussed, we're having a Kayak Demo Day on the 22nd of April.  It's aimed at people who are thinking about buying a kayak this summer but may not be sure which model is for them.   We'll have a couple of sit on tops (Islanders and Wilderness Systems), some fishing kayaks, some sea kayaks and some recreational touring sit-ins on hand for people to take for a short paddle.

Location wise we'll be down near Rosscarbery and we're asking people to pre-register so that we can give them a time slot.

We thought it  might be of interest to some of the Phoenix Club members and were hoping you'd be able to pass on the information. I've attached a poster too.

We'd also be interested in offering Phoenix members discounts on boats and kayaking equipment.

Give me a ring if you've any questions - we'd love to get involved where appropriate.

Kind regards,

Philip Hurley
