PostSubject: Use of Club Equipment   Mon 20 Feb 2012, 3:18 pm

Hi Folks,
This is to all members using Club Equipment. When I went to the club to pick up the trailer for the last pool sessions I was greeted by a lovely mess inside the Club House. Boats and gear left on the floor, one of which was a Wavesport Diesel with 2 sets of gear (Helmets, Cags, B.As and decks) stuffed inside. The gear was sitting in a pool of water inside the boat. This is NOT acceptable, if the gear is left like this, it will not only stink, it will begin to rot and fall apart. Racks have been provided for the boats, there are baskets for helmets and hooks for paddles, Buoyancy Aids and Cags. Nothing should be left on the floor. All this gear costs money, money which is hard to come by these days. So.......
If you use any club boats or gear at any time please return the boats to the racks and the gear to its proper location. This prevents boats been damaged, and helps dry wet gear, it also prevents someone breaking their neck by tripping over something on the floor! Very Happy

Oh and take care of the K boats, they are pretty fragile. Gently place them on the rack the right way. Padded racks only.
