Hi Folks,
I've added a few widgets down the left hand side on the forum screen. Let me know what you think. If any of ye have any other ideas for the forum let me know.

I've been asked to streamline the Outings section, so we have only one section for outing and one section for river levels/surf reports. Obviously official club outings would be highlighted in the subject line/title. What do ye think? Change it or leave as is?

1 for changes to simplify the Outings section.

1 against 'the widgets'. I think it makes the page look fussy.

We need the Calender somewhere though. It would be nice to be able to open it up too!! Very Happy

looks good, the only problem i would have with it is the light blue writing on the left under latest topics being a bit hard to read, a darker colour would be better, the calender is a great idea. Very Happy

Looks good Sean Very Happy

Agreed on simplifying the outings section.

Think the calander with events is a good idea, opens for me but cannot view details of the events.

Don't mind the widgets too much. I think the summary of latest topics is good as it is a handy way of looking at posts since last logging in.

Don't like the green font, the blue was easier to read.

When I click on a date that is underlined, another view of the calender month opens with blank space alongside.

Can anyone see the post on the calender I put up about the REC3 course??

Upcoming Outings/Events section will get very full when the Calender is filled in........

The section will be almost unuseable for other stuff. scratch

Thanks for the feedback guys, as free time is hard to come by at the mo, this is been done on a bit by bit bases. Trying to tweak it here and there when I have a few minutes. Paul we could leave the outings section in 2 parts and have one for calendar events, just an idea. Very Happy

Yep,

Calender events section would work, for detailed info / logistics of events.

With another section for non-calender listed stuff like weekend paddles.
