Steven

Pool sessions usually start in October, we will post details on the forum when dates are confirmed.

Just to clarify: Pool sessions are for people learning how to roll their kayak back upright after a capsize, not for swimming, which is the point of learning how to roll in the first place!!

Here is some inspiration for those who like a challenge!!! The Magnum Roll

And before you ask, we do not teach the Magnum Roll, sorry.....

This is what happened last year.

Pool Rolling Classes for Winter 2010-2011

Sessions are booked in blocks of 5 first session booked for15th October 8-9pm

Cost of 5 Sessions is 100 per person

Location: Coral Pool, Cobh.

Numbers are limited to 12 people who will learn to roll under the tuition of instructors.

Payment must be made on the first night

People wishing to attend the pool sessions must be ClubMembers (no excuses) and a minimum of Level 2 Proficiency.

First 12 to email or MP me will book their places.

FYI: Members can pay 10 to come down and practice their rolling in the pool without instructor tuition. Obviously there is a limited number of these spaces as the pool can only accommodated a certain number of boats. We'll limit this to 6 people at present.

Yep as Paul said pool sessions usually kick off in October. The main deciding factor on them going ahead is, if we have enough interest in them. That said hands up who is interested in pool sessions? Need a head count before we contact the pool owners.
