Hi Folks,
we have been asked for saftey paddlers for a paddle around Ballycotton.

Friday 19th August, 2011 @ 6.30pm
Welcome to the Ballycotton Island swim which will take place in Ballycotton, East Cork on Friday 19th August at 6.30pm (need to register by 6pm). This challenging swim will start and finish from Ballycotton Pier and will go around Ballycotton Island.
Any KAYAK / BOAT volunteers will be gratefully accepted.

As this course can be affected by bad weather, should the original course be unswimmable on the day, a fallback swim of similar distance will take place from Garryvoe Beach (in front of hotel) to Ballycotton Pier.

 Open to experienced non-wetsuit and wetsuit swimmers.
 Qualification swim of 3k open water in 2011 must be proved.
 Must be a member of a Swim Ireland Club (Membership No required).
 Hot Finger Food and prize-giving will take place in the Schooner Tavern directly after the swim.
