PostSubject: Well Done   Sat 04 Jun 2011, 7:44 pm

As an outsider (non paddler) it was great to watch the boats and kayaks coming up the river today.

It was great also, to see the "Junior Team" bring home not one but two Tropheys at the event. Well done to James, Eoin, John, Jamie, Joe and Sean for a great preformance today..

While it seems the wrong way round, I hope their great preformace will inspire the "senior" paddlers to done better.

Also, thanks to Maurice, Martin, Mary Kate and also Alan for supporting them on the water,

To finish, it was great to see Alan struggle to keep up with Jamie ( well done Jamie).

I;d also like to give a big bulla bos to all our juniors as they had a hard two weeks with the junior liffey last weekend and the ocean to city yesterday .Also i,d like to thank all the parents as with out your commitment [ cars and time ]they could not have made it to these events ,so give yourselves a big pat on the back and well done.

To all our senior members [18 and over ] who took part yesterday i take my hat off to ye as i was told the conditions were fairly rotten with the heat and wind in the harbour and i also think a massive congradulations and welldone for completing the grulling course
