Hi Lads
After checking you lads out yesterday its impresive to see the ability level you guys have. I gave you guys some individual tips and stuff trying to work on your double pump and stern squirt so work hard an youll have it in no time.

Remember (double Pump)
pick up speed
Forward stroke ( driving legs into the air)
Back stroke ( with your weight on the paddle )
body position ( upright Back straight, throwing head between bow and paddle )
Driving your bow into the water ( think about sinking your legs not your tail going over your head)

I also gave each of you a day that you have to come up with games to play to build your rolling and get you used to being upside down in your kayak that and also build your strength for playboating. I am hoping you lads enjoyed the few games i used to play as a starting kayaker but i want you to come up with your own ones. So no google searching or any of that just try and think of anything that you think would be fun to do with the lads. So [/b]Post up here and let me and the others know what games your coming up with so you lads dont come up with the same game.

By the looks of things you lads should be aiming to hit all the fresestyle events next year and do well and hitting the alps next summer (first junior Cork crew to go) .

looking forward to seeing what you come up with.
