The weather hasn't been kind to us of late with our club trips, if anyone still fancies a paddle tomorrow, reply to ths post.

I was thinking of heading out to Spike Island in Cork Harbour tmrw if anyone is interested. Because of the likely frosty roads we'll meet in Monkstown by the slipway at 11:30am.

Low tide is 14:13 hrs so we'll catch the last of the outgoing tide out to Spike (don't expect much tidal help, you'll have to paddle!)
We should have relatively slack water / slight incoming on the way back.

We can stop for bite / a look around Spike if people want.

We should be off by 15:00 hrs

If anyone wants gear I can meet you at the club 10:45 sharp tmrw. You MUST reply to this post as I will only go to the club if necessary. Usual club rules apply to gear rental, 10 euro for equipment.

Bring a drink, food, woolly hat and splashproof top if all you have is a wetsuit. Come on people, come out for a paddle!

Would love to get out on the water, unfortunately that will mean I'll need to go by the club house, pick up the gear and would need help transporting the kayak..........if this is all too much trouble don't worry.
