Phoenix Kayak Club are based on the River Lee, and run Beginners courses throughout the Summer, while also entertaining their Current membership every Thursday night.

Prices aren't actually that good in that shop.
If you look in local shops, you'll see similar gear for similar prices, maybe 5% to 10% more expensive, but this seasons gear instead of mostly previous seasons gear.
Shipping and customs may be an issue also.
I can think of a number of shops that have seriously good deals at the mo if you go into them.
Its well worth checking out, and easier to sort out a problem with the gear if it arises.
