Lets say next Sunday morning 24th October.

Because:

1) It's a traditional paddling time

2) It'll allow anyone working Sat to join us

And most importantly....

3) I've got a paddling pass that day!! cheers

Guys, be warned, the local farmer doesn't take kindly to people using his land to get on & may let the air out of your tyres...

The B&B owner lets people park on his land, so drop the boats up the road, park in the B&B & walk back to the boats...

Looks like you'll have water too...

Will test the lie of the land here & may join ye if that's ok...

(Still working up the brownie points after a lads weekend away, poker nights etc...)

What time are ye thinking?

Lads,
Have not done this river before either but am happy to run with a guid book. (it Does not Sound too Bad)

The rain has stopped now and the river may well be too dry but i am happy to give it a try.

If you want i am happy to go and look and can meet you in Mac Donalds Car park Dungarvan at 10.45 tomorrow Saturday.

Please give me a call on my mobile if you are up for this. Keep in mind that it may be too low, but it would give us a chance to have a look at it first and could always catch some surf if there was no water.

Regards

Jeremy

From met.ie

Tomorrow, Saturday will be a cool showery day. Many of the showers will be heavy with a risk of hail and thunder during the afternoon. Temperatures will range 9 to11 degrees and winds will further veer northerly moderate to fresh in strength.

Plenty of water for Sunday hopefully

Was down spectating last year, no reason why we can't run it like Jeremy said.

If any bit looks dodgy, we'll scout it first.

Updtae is this, Jeremy is going to ring the Colligan B&B to ask about rainfall, if they had what I had here in Mallow, we'll be heading East Sunday morn 10:45 in McDonalds car park.

We'll post up here later if its we're going.

Just spoken to owner of local holiday homes next to the river.
It's currently far too low so not worth the trip out.
Sorry lads
let's hope it rises in the next couple of weeks
regards
jeremy
