*1000m, all others 940m
**6:03 to the slipway, as written on official timesheet

For an approximate time over 1000m I'd estimate another 17-18seconds be added to your time. The downstream distance from the pontoon to the slipway is about 60m. It's 1000m from the wires to the slipway but we took times to the pontoon.

Keep working Dave and you'll break 6 minutes yet lol!

Well done to all who paddled, it was by far the best turnout yet. Next time a few more adults might have a go, no reason not to do it in a seakayak. It'd be good practice for when those Great Whites are chasing you up by the Cliffs of Moher:shock:

i.ve all the work done Sean. If you asked Don O Hanlon he could have let you know that i actually went to the slipway and not just to the pontoon.

Not sure but I think Dave and Don took my second time at the slip.
But maybe not.

6:08 was your time to slip for second run.
Your first run was 5:42 to the pontoon so would be equivalent to about 5:59 or 6:00 to the slip!
So you did beat Dave then!!!
