| Kilcullen is just at the point where the M9 to waterford meets the M7 to dublin. Bit of a distance but i would say you could make it from cork (dunkettle) in about 2 hours since the road is nearly motorway all the way at this stage. Probably same time as to thomastown but with more distance travelled.. |

Don't know much about the course myself but they do say in their flyer that the river will be in flood (a dam release?) and that its not suitable for beginners. |
