PostSubject: wed nights   Wed Aug 12 2009, 18:36

Sorry didn't get to the paddle tonight got hung up at work.

Was thinking of heading out from Roche's Point on Sunday morning at 10. If you can believe the weatherman forecast is reasonable for Sun. Can wait or meet up with anybody putting in from Western side of the harbour if that suits better.

For anybody who might be interested in the Cliffs of Moher trip (is it still on?) but hasn't done much sea paddling then could go from Roche's to Inch and do some instruction/practice in the waves?

Thinking out loud it would seem like an idea to put in at Doolin, paddle the cliffs and camp for the night on Inishmaan...make the drive worthwhile..
If Doolin too much and it's already 12th August then could also do Baltimore/Cape Clear towards end of August or early Sept?...

Pat,
Would like to join you, but due to commitments on Sunday afternoon, I would have to be back in Crosshaven by 12:00.
How long do you think you will be on the water for?

Seamus.

hi seamus - you'd hardly make it back to crosser for 12 if we put in at 10. Morning is always best so I'm fine with an early start if that suits others?

I too happy to do earlier if required. Wil be in the water for 9 unless I hear otherwise.

Thanks for organising this.
