Right lads,
A lot of people have mentioned that we're not getting out it the sea kayaks so here we go. I'm suggesting a sea paddle next Thursday night. Weather isnt looking great so maybe meet at Kinsale bridge. If condition are against us we can stay in the harbour or head up river. If weather improves before then we can head out to the Old Head.

So if your interested put your name down. Looks like we wont have a trailer so boats and gear will have to be picked up Monday or Tuesday night from the club.

Meet: Kinsale Bridge.
Time: Thursday Evening 6:30

Hi Noel,
Thats why I'm suggesting Kinsale. Even if the conditions are shocking you can always head up river from the bridge for a trip. Lots of shelter that way.

Sean,

Will see you there.
I can bring a spare sea kayak if someone wants one.
But I do not have any spare gear, spraydeck, paddle or bouyancy.

According to magic seaweed, the weather forecast for Thursday is reasonable.

Seamus.

Anyone else interested in this??? It looks like we'll be going ahead Noel. I was down there last night and it wasn't too bad at all. I can bring spare gear and Seamus has a spare boat so if anyone wants it let us know.

Will do Paul. I has in Sandy Cove last night. The swell was rolling nicely sheltered by the head in there so that's always an option.

Seamus can you bring the spare boat for Emer? I was in touch with her by text and she's up for coming along but needs a boat.

Huge in Inch too, should be back to normal by Thusday...

Might join ye in my tandem with my brother...

Will make an assessment as to my chances of reaching the required number of brownie points sooner to the off.
(I'll be making it three days paddling in a row tonight, so might be pushing it) Wink
