All gear has been moved from the club. I will have eight boats and sets of gear with me on Sunday. That should cover us for club members. I will be at the site about 9.30am if anyone wants to follow me down.

Directions for anyone who is not sure how to get to Oysterhaven:


Take the main Kinsale road from Cork (R600). In the village of Belgooly
(20km) turn left at the Huntsman pub from where Oysterhaven
is clearly signposted. The journey is approximately 30 minutes.

Hi Folks,
Just wanted to say thanks to all that showed up. Conditions were not perfect but a good day was had by all I think. Thanks also to the club members who volunteered their own boats for people to try out.

BIG! Thank You! to Mark from Munster Dive & Canoe for coming along with all the lovely paddling gear and boats. I think a bunch of people were making up their xmas wish lists after taking a look.

Don I never got a go at that surf ski! Next time maybe.
