Hi Noel

I won't be around for this, but it has been suggested previously of a trip from Ballycotton to Inch beach (or Gyleen) or the reverse depending on the prevailing conditions.

There are plenty of small beaches dotted along this coastline to pull in and take a break, more towards the Inch side, so starting at Ballycotton would be preferable if conditions suited giving a longer first leg.

Not sure of the distance but it'd be a fair paddle, but not too daunting if conditions were ok.

Enjoy it wherever ye decide to go.

Can't make it unfortunately as will be away. Sean Sull and myself did it couple of months ago think it took us the guts of four hours Ballycotton to Inch into a westerly fresh and ebb tide which made life uncomfortable. It's a nice paddle but suggest you decide direction at last minute to try to get the wind behind you if possible.

Distance is about 12 miles from garryvoe to inch, maybe closer to 10 miles from ballycotton.
