| Food for Thought. We talked about doing something last year and nothing happened, other than the Turkey Run which was a success

| Right it looks like we are going to get out for a few drinks with partners in tow. I promise i will arrange something this year. I'll have to arrange something soon so as all the lads can get babysitters arranged. Micheal was right in what he said. It was all the lads that did no paddling over the winter last year that have caused the baby boom. Good incentive to get the boat out this year |

| Just an idea for the Christmas piss-up. We could go for a paddle on the Flesk or Roughty. Then call to the world famous "Loo Bridge Bar". And then...... |

| Don't mind that paddling crap We'll just head to the pub. Was thinking the 21st of November after the pool session or else the friday after it. I presume cork city to keep the majority happy. If no-one minds we'll go for midleton instead Let me know what dates suit the majority and also include a pub. Remember we have to cater for the oldies as well as Cian & Bucks. |

| 21st November? I thought it was CHRISTMAS drinks? And yes, Cork City would be preferable too! Unless you can accomodate us non-townies Dave? I'd also go for Saturday, it would be a bit late to get together, sort out gear, do beauty treatments etc after rolling sessions. Admittedly, city pubs will be busy enough, but if we have an idea of numbers, we could get somewhere like Clancy's to rope off a section for us. We wouldn't want to be rubbing shoulders with the non-paddling proletariat now would we? I am of course open to suggestions, whether I'll take them on board is another matter! Paul Heff |

Are they not a little young to be going to pubs? |

| Why not go up to Clare........ Get 2 rivers done during the day, Stay in a Local B&B or small Hotel that we can completly take over and they add large volumes of drink and a maybe some food. Should get this all for about the same price as a meal in the City which tends to be overpriced these days Jeremy |

Not reserving anywhere, probably because there are only 4 interested from what i can gather on the forum. Its a bit like paddling trips. Feck all interest |

| Well I was thinking, since we were founded under the bridge on the Owenroe, and our AGM was held under the Cladagh bridge. It would be a good plan to hold our Christmas party under a bridge somewhere. Maybe Blackstones bridge, Christmas week? |

| I should be at the clydagh bridge for then. Hopefully under it, if not ye'll just have to pass me up some beer. So suggestions for pubs Girls & Boys. I wouldn't be used to the big city life. Micheal said he always drinks in Loafers. I've never heard of it so thinking somewhere different. |
