It's on Saturday and starting at 2pm, so you don't even have to get out of bed early and you still have Sunday free to watch the All-Ireland football final. It is not as far a drive as the Boyne Classic and would be an ideal opportunity to have a go at Wildwater racing. The name sounds scarier than it actually is. General purpose boats are able to enter this race so you don't have to be nervous about getting into a wavehopper right away. I myself am going to be at sea for this period but would encourage anyone interested to give it a go. ...
