Ok all,

Now that the racing plan is kicking off. What are we going to do about polo? Instructors start back on the 7th and 14th of April and the Thursday nights should start back the following week.

Need ideas and a plan or there mightn't be polo. So to get the ball rolling.

Coaching?

Saturday morning?

Autumn's munster league?

Summer competitions? National champs/ Irish open?

What shape are the goals in?

One day competition in Cork? UCC/ CIT/ Kinsale/ any others?

With it being summer time now and seeming as we're supposed to have good weather, I was thinkin of maybe trying to get a polo session going on Saturday mornings.

It wouldn't be too early so everybody could get a bit of a lie in, maybe around 11 or 12.

So the big question is anybody interested???

Just since I can't make it this week due to work, some hard and fast rules to guide you in playing:

1. The helmets with facemasks aren't fashion statements

Most of ye probably know by now anyway but Polo is starting up again on thursday the 17th.

Polo is lots of fun and a great way to improve your paddling technique and fitness on the water. If you want to try it out all you need to bring with you is normal paddling gear and we have lots new boats for ye to use. So if ye have any questions just throw up a post. Hope to see ye on thursday evening.

Cheers,

Bucks.

What issues need to be addressed apart from the lack of boats?

If you are leaving your boat there for others to use, it will not be taken from the club site or the near river, without your express permission.

This should protect your boat. Paddles are the same. Your break them, you pay for them or replace them depending on the owners choice. If you don't ...
