PostSubject: Polo this Summer   Tue Mar 24 2009, 15:10

Ok all,

Now that the racing plan is kicking off. What are we going to do about polo? Instructors start back on the 7th and 14th of April and the Thursday nights should start back the following week.

Need ideas and a plan or there mightn't be polo. So to get the ball rolling.

Coaching?
Saturday morning?
Autumn's munster league?
Summer competitions? National champs/ Irish open?
What shape are the goals in?
One day competition in Cork? UCC/ CIT/ Kinsale/ any others?

What equipment is needed/ repair etc?

ANY IDEAS???

I will play Polo...
I may need to remove the footrests from one of the club boats to fit in but i will make sure i put them back.

Why not set a specific introduction day to polo and then people get to see if they like it.

I know its good fun and good for fitness as i am always wrecked after. I also like river running because i am lazy and as long as there is good flow you don’t have to paddle that much!
