Munster Polo League starting again, see Bucks thread. Need to know, who and when and where and why? Post there.
We won div2 last year with Parents Inc and the Sandycows messed it up (no pun intended) in Div 1.

Still need some safety Kayakers for Swim in Cork Harbour on the 30th sept.

Pool in Cobh: Do we have numbers to maybe do one night a month there? After Lee floods next month. And anyone been there? Goals??

Hi Sniffly the club polo night is on thursdays at 6:30 at the phoenix/CIT site you are more than welcome to come along. Not sure about a pool session we still have sort a few things but will stick a post when we know for definate.

Hi fellow polo heads,

Ok last night was a bit of a blow out for polo. But the other container has arrived.
We polo fiends will now be housed with the K-boating wimps in the main container (where the goals were). We need to put a bit of order on it and clean it up a bit. But Goals and boats and stuff should be a bit better off.

Alright Guys,

The Irish Open canoepolo competion took place on the 22nd and 23rd of September. There was one Cork team(Sandycows) enter consisting of myself(Ciaran), Cian Twohig, Sean McIntyre, Conor Walsh, Ruth and Clare (from the Irsh ladies team) and Frederick who came all the way from Denmark to play with us. The competion took place in Kilcock. Unfortunatly due problems setting up the fifth pitch Div 2 were unable to have play offs and were only able to have the semi's and the final. However there was savage party on the Saturday. The Sandycows managed to come third in our group after winning three games and losing narrowly in our other two. So I think thats about it the official results will be out during the week and I will post them up when I get them.

We need to go o container some day in the next two weeks and do a clean up.
Organise the polo and k-boat container and general tidy. There is a club work day due soon. so we roll on that day or pick another?

Just to keep you all up to date. The Phoenix members of Sandycows are Myself, Andrew Monaghan, Rory Lynch and Cian Twohig. Also on the team Conor Walsh(EX Phoenix), Frederick (Danish mens squad) and Mick Griffen(WWKC I think). We did pretty good winning our first two games against Kamikaze and Swink and we lost by one goal to Carnage. The next night in Limerick is the 8th of December.

Mike G. ex of Irish squad for a couple of years, also club div 1 in holland for a year.

Conor W. Ex coach to USA as well as multiple years Irish squad. Also coached Irish ladies for awhile, I think.

FYI

The Ladies in Div 1 MPL refers to Ladies National squad

Can't remember if Carnage or Swink the mens national squad (or is it half and half on the other team???)
